I’m a versatile journalist with 15 years’ experience as a reporter and editor. I’ve worked for national newspapers, broadcasters, trade magazines and corporate clients. I’ve been freelance since 2008. I live in London.
I normally write about business; from hard news and analysis to consumer features and profiles of business leaders. I specialise in tax and accountancy, regulations and corporate governance, small business and management issues. I also cover the public sector, environmental issues, technology and home news.
I’ve written for publications including: the Financial Times, The Guardian, The Independent, Telegraph, Channel 4 News (online), Accountancy Age, Retail Week, Marketing Week, Green Futures, Construction News, Computer Weekly — and lots more.
I’ve extensive experience in editing and copywriting for corporate clients including Goldman Sachs, HSBC, PwC, Balfour Beatty, Sage, Procter & Gamble, ACCA, Thomas Eggar — and more.
You can see examples of my work by clicking on the cuttings tab at the top of this page.
I’m interested in feature commissions, news shifts, contract work, editing, corporate writing and media training. If you’ve got any questions please get in touch.
